About the Bureau

za bor is an architectural studio founded in Moscow in 2003 by architects Pyotr Zaitsev and Arseny Borisenko. The main activities of the company are the design of residential and public buildings, private houses and cottages; interior design of office and residential buildings.

The workshop’s projects are designed in a modern style; they are distinguished by an abundance of architectural techniques used both in volumetric design and in interior design. Another distinctive feature of za bor projects is their dynamic, complex form. This is especially noticeable in the interior, because for almost all objects, architects specially develop furniture and furnishings.

Today, the za bor architectural bureau has all the necessary approvals and licenses and successfully conducts international practice. The workshop’s portfolio is diverse and includes both private houses and interiors of apartments and apartments, as well as commercial objects: offices, hotel and business complexes, territory development projects, urban planning concepts.

Specific design methods allow the leading architects of the workshop to directly participate in the creation of all objects at all stages, involving proven specialists of a narrow profile in engineering solutions and construction work. This approach has been used for more than ten years and has proven itself, allowing us to achieve the highest quality of design and construction, as well as reduce project management costs.

The original projects and concepts of the architectural studio za bor have been awarded dozens of Russian and foreign awards, included in trend books and ratings of international advertising agencies and magazines, and are presented in catalogs of leading furniture manufacturers. In addition to private customers, the company’s clients include developers and large IT, media and energy companies, including Accor/Novotel, Castrol/BP, Yandex, Badoo, Forward Media Group, Inter RAO UES, RosEvroBank, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and others.
