IT office of the bank
The office is intended for the bank’s division that deals with the digital component of business processes, so its design combines the solidity inherent in banks and the bright, dynamic forms familiar to IT companies. The premises are designed mainly as open space, and are looped around the structural core of the building. One of the facades of the business centre has panoramic glazing, which is reflected in the zoning of the office. Due to the varying degrees of insolation, the working areas are located near the windows, while the meeting rooms and other rooms are located close to the core.
The panoramic windows offer magnificent industrial views – steam and chimneys of the power plant are juxtaposed with the glass facades of the buildings. The panoramic windows allowed the industrial landscape to be creatively integrated into the space: glass volumes and symmetrical rows of soffits are reminiscent of high-rise office towers, while rounded partitions with gradient matting on molten glass are a reference to cooling towers.
The office space is divided into two levels – by position. Semitransparent rounded offices are allocated for the heads of departments, and the director has a large office with a reception area.
There are many complex geometric elements in the project: florists made of sheet steel, glass wardrobes, extensive cabinets with wood veneer finish, and rooms for telephone calls. The ceiling with open communications is decorated with linear luminaires. The colours were chosen to match the client’s corporate identity.
