Penthouse in Khamovniki

The essence of the Pontoon project is that this conceptual building can vary in size – it can be an office of 1000 sq. m. meters and private two-level apartments with an area of 400 square meters (in this version it is “Penthouse in Khamovniki – 540 sq. m”). The project is designed for construction on concrete hollow pontoons, so it can be implemented on the water, which, due to the specifics of the land code of some European countries, will allow you to avoid paying tax on the use of land. In addition, such a building can be completed on the roof of an existing, for example, multi-story building. This is quite realistic, since the structure was designed to be placed on pontoons and should be very light. Therefore, the design used technologies that are used for the construction of ships and submarines. The basis is a strong frame made of “frames”, onto which a shell made of lightweight material, such as foam concrete, is stretched. Or the walls can be made using sandwich panel technology. External cladding made of composite panels provides increased resistance to precipitation and an impressive appearance of the structure. Despite the complex modern form, the project is quite simple to implement and very economical.
