Tennis club in Istra

The tennis club is supposed to be located on a plot of 1.5 hectares, on the banks of the Istra River, in one of the most picturesque areas of the Moscow region. The project involves, in addition to the actual construction of five open earthen courts, the creation of a large sports and recreational infrastructure, united in one vast complex. A complex building, highly elongated and developed in plan, formed from several interpenetrating volumes. The main visual dominant is the multi-level part of the building, which consists of four “intertwined” volumes (forming three floors).
On the first, largest of them floors, with an area of 4500 sq. m, there are four indoor tennis courts. The ceiling height is 9 meters, which made it possible to organize balconies for spectators on the second floor. The second smaller volume, belonging to the first floor, contains a 25-meter swimming pool, saunas and hammams. The entrance lobby, the reception desk and the sports equipment store are located here. On the second floor there is a fitness room with cardio equipment from which, through the façade glazing, a wonderful view of the river opens; There is also a cafe here, from where you can watch the games taking place on the courts. On the third floor there is a hotel with 8 double junior suites and 6 deluxe rooms.
