he office in St. Petersburg is one of the largest and most visually interesting. Expanding continuously over six years, the current fourth phase of this office occupies the third floor of the “Benois” business center.

The client wanted an intriguing office that would visually complement the very vibrant part located on the fifth floor and the calmer offices on the fourth floor. As a result, the best stylistic solutions developed over the years of Yandex’s operation were incorporated into the office design. Since the design of the search engine has evolved significantly over time, new design concepts related to the client’s corporate identity emerged. This resulted in a new narrative about Yandex, where many flat icons transformed into 3D representations. Additionally, “contour” embodiments were introduced as cutouts on the walls, creating recognizable outlines of symbols familiar to millions of search engine users. The architects’ intention was to immerse guests and office employees into the world of Yandex services, with which they are accustomed to interacting exclusively on a two-dimensional screen.

Environmentally friendly materials of the latest generation were used in the finishing touches, including carpeting, drywall, linoleum, and one wall made of stabilized moss.
